Not to be missed: Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival!

Music stars Diana Ross, Gladys Knight, Usher and Marc Anthony will be headlining the 2013 Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival. The four will be joined by a roster including The Roots, Luis Miguel, Toto, Erykah Badu and Sonny Rollins, among others.

“The Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival is growing into one of the best music festivals in the world and headlining acts like Diana Ross, Usher, Gladys Knight and Luis Miguel, cements the Festival’s reputation”.

The two-day festival is being held for the fourth time at the World Trade Center – Piscadera Bay in Curacao right across the Hilton Curaçao Hotel.

Throughout the Festival, international artists with some of the biggest names in the jazz, funk, soul, Latin, and R&B worlds, will perform in and around the WTC.

Diana Ross’s enormously successful career has lead to numerous awards, major prizes and milestones in the international music history during the past four decades. She is one of the most prominent female artists from popular music history. Rightfully so that her international successes were gloriously recognized by the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors in Washington D.C. five years ago.

Usher has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and was named most successful artist of 2000-2010 by Billboard.  His album Confessions (2004) has sold millions of copies and is listed as the best solo-album of that decade. In the U.S., Usher has had no less than nine Hot 100 Number One Hits and seventeen Hot 100 Top Ten singles.

Curaçao is truly now an A-list destination for music and cultural tourism in the Caribbean.
